Sadly, “Catholic” Sebelius refuses to stop the “Bleeding Kansas” barbarism and infanticide in Wichita. “Gov Kathleen Sebelius is protecting Tiller … she is not fit to serve,” Bill O’Reilly, May 30, 2007.
In March the Kansas press ignored statements made by Wichita abortionist George Tiller at a meeting at the National Education Association in Washington, DC. Dr. Tiller’s radical statements can be seen on youtube.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) today released video exposing footage of abortionist Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, KS openly discussing children who “slip out” accidentally during an abortion and are “born alive” or with a “heartbeat” and condemned such medical mistakes during the Feminist Majority Foundation’s annual Women’s Leadership Conference, held at the National Education Association (NEA.) Dr. Tiller, who currently faces 19 criminal charges for illegal late-term abortions in the state of Kansas, stated “If the baby is born alive, that is sloppy medicine”
Becky Banks, SFLA Programs Coordinator, said “I’m concerned that Dr. Tiller didn’t know what the federal ban on infanticide is about. A man who performs thousands of abortions a year should know of this legislation and realize that any time that ’something with a heartbeat slips out,’ the baby is then a protected person under the law. The question obviously caught him off guard, because he could not give a straight answer about live abortions and contradicted his own information in a matter of minutes, claiming it’s not ever necessary and then explaining when it is necessary to abort live infants.”
Yesterday, Kansas Gov. Sebelius vetoed a Comprehensive Abortion Reform Act (CARA) bill, which attempted to place restrictions on late-term abortions. Late term abortions are Tiller’s specialty.
No one can question whether Tiller is aborting viable babies since he is above the law in Kansas at this time. Tiller’s political money helped elect Gov. Sebelius (his ProKanDo PAC attempted to raise $200,000 to support Sebelius in 2002 — page 1 and page 2 of fundraising letter), and “buy” her liberal appointees to the Kansas Supreme Court, who have protected Tiller. Tiller’s political money helped “buy” many state legislators. In summary, Tiller’s political money has bought him legal “protection” in Kansas.
Last May Bill O’Reilly in a Factor Investigation declared: “Governor Kathleen Sebelius is protecting Tiller … She is not fit to serve.” At that time few knew that Sebelius’s 59th birthday party on May 15th was a Planned Parenthood fundraiser. The Kansas City Catholic blog showed pictures: Governor Sebelius arrives to be honored at a Planned Parenthood gala in KC and is met by pro-life protesters.
In Kansas, we need help to promote the Culture of Life. Sadly, we still are “Bleeding Kansas” and Gov. Sebelius, a “Catholic”, refuses to do anything to stop the carnage.
Last week the Oklahoma legislature was able to override the Oklahoma Governor’s veto to put new pro-life measures into law in Oklahoma. However, Tiller may “own” enough votes in the Kansas legislature to block an override of Sebelius’ veto of restrictions on late-term abortions.
