Sunday’s Topeka Capital-Journal reported that recently fired talk show host Jim Cates will host a talk show streamed online by that newspaper. The Journal reported future plans for Cates to host video web casts with local newsmakers.
Cates was recently fired by Spike Santee at Cumulus Broadcasting and hosted a talk show at KMAJ in Topeka.
Several advertisers and pulled their ads in protest, and listeners recently held a protest march asking to “Bring Jim Back.”
