Today the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission announced that their next meeting would be on Wed., May 13 at 1:00 PM in the Training Room for the Department of Agriculture on the 4th Floor of 109 SW 9th in Topeka. Normally, the Ethics Commission holds their meetings in their conference room on the 5th floor at the same address.
The reason for the room change is likely due to the public hearing in the complaint against Speaker of the House Mike O’Neal, which is scheduled to start at 2 PM. The Ethics Commission’s conference room normally accommodates a small number of visitors and press members, but more space will likely be needed for additional press attending this high-profile hearing with the complaint against Speaker O’Neal.
I plan to Tweet live from that meeting.
