As far as I know, the people involved in this protest at KMBC were ordinary citizens worried about what state-run health care will mean to their families and our society.

The reason for protesting at an ABC station was that ABC was presenting President Obama's views while blocking opposing views. ABC's refusal to run opposition ads and block a national discussion was what prompted the protest and was well known on the Internet.

Deciding the winner is the role of a "free press" in a free society? The press' job is to block public discussion? Consider this article: ABC: Obama's 'state-run television network'?, http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=101984

You're worried bout insurance companies denying coverage, but you're not worried about government bureaucrats deciding what health care you get and what you don't get? We'll have health care rationing and wait times of months will be common. Costs will be contained by rationing. How is this good?

Government controlled health care will nearly kill new drug research in the U.S since there will be little incentive since reimbursements for new drugs could be blocked by the government. Research may be forced overseas. There will be little innovation with new medical devices too since compensation will be blocked by the government.

Just how many ABC studios had similar protests when KMBC had theirs?
This protest took place on the afternoon before the show aired, so somebody had to clue them in.
This visit was just another example of how well organized and desperate the health care powers that be are in their efforts to derail the Obama administration's desire to make health care available to some people who really need it.
The insurance companies are spending nearly $1.5M each day in their lobbying efforts.
While this behavior is certainly not foreign to Washington, this display is particularly galling considering the amounts of money the the corporate executives have made over the years while denying coverage to policy holders.
