  • Kansas Free Press:  Patients Want Faster Access to Better Medical Records [Meadowlark:  But who will pay for it?  "Faster" usually costs more.]
  • Forward Kansas:  Wichita Eagle Sells Out, Panders to Teabaggers Related YouTube video.  [Meadowlark:   Why the denigrating term "Teabagger"?  Why the term "astroturf" when so many folks are quite frustrated with wasteful spending and are self-motivated to get involved -- no one is paying them. Because you disagree with someone you don't respect them? Why the push for class welfare?   You said "lots of pictures of aborted fetuses".  I saw three pictures of the same sign on Flickr.  What did I miss?  You said "scores of misspelled signs" .  Could I ask for an example of at least one score of misspelled signs?  And what would that prove anyway?  I once knew a very smart liberal guy that couldn't get the difference between "it's" and "its".  Does that make him a lesser person, or less smart?  But, so what?  Estimating crowd size is not easy.  The size of the crowd is a function of time as people come and go, and pack and disperse.  Take a series of aerial photographs and use image processing -- but the exact number isn't that important.  You complain about "distortions of the truth before" but perhaps you should look at C-SPAN pictures for the event talked about in your link.  Ultimately, everyone wants health care for everyone.  The argument is over how to pay for it.  Last I knew, money doesn't grow on trees. Help find a way to pay for it without forcibly taking assets from others.]
  • KansasPrairie:  Who is paying for the sidewalk and fence at the grade school? [Meadowlark:  Sounds like some open record requests might shine some light on this.]
