On Wednesday the Sunlight Foundation’s 24 Days of Local Sunlight – Day 2 recognized the Kansas Meadowlark
for an excellent collection of watch dog news and some independent research.
I thank them for that recognition.
Of course, since September, all my original research efforts and reporting can be found on the Kansas Watchdog.
Meadowlark News Digests will return soon.
I’ve been busy this week on the Kansas Watchdog site exposing problems Kansas has in the placement and removal of children from homes:
- Compelling stories from parents and grandparents about problems with placement and removal of children
- Parents, grandparents ask why children removed from homes
I still have at least two more articles to write from the hearings of the Joint Committee on Children’s Issues held on Monday and Tuesday in Topeka.
