There is sad and shocking news today from Wichita that Dr. George Tiller was murdered in his church. This is sickening and appalling and does not reflect the many embracing the Culture of Life who looked for peaceful, legal and political means to oppose abortion. This vigilante action must be condemned by all.
An April 11 Meadowlark article gave details about how Gov. Sebelius’ response to Senator Kyl was wrong by $26,000, which was later explained to the world by the AP. The answer Gov. Sebelius needed for Senator Kyl was in a March 27 Catholic newspaper, which was delivered to many Catholics in Kansas, and possibly Gov. [...]
Friday’s Lawrence Journal-World reported Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ responses to written questions asked of her by the U.S. Senate Finance Committee as part of her nomination to be HHS Secretary. But, one of her responses is wrong by $26,000 and newspapers are not reporting the correct figures.
