Kansas newspaper reports as recently as late March quoted Ms. Burkhart as the Executive Director of the ProKanDo PAC, but an April 16 Wichita Eagle article quoted “ProKanDo’s former executive director, Jule Burkhart.”

Nine years ago on March 16, 2000 Gov. Kathleen Sebelius filed the initial Statement of Organization for her Bluestem Fund PAC. The initial purpose of the PAC given was simply the “General interest in ensuring a high quality Kansas Legislature.” Later by 2004 a new Statement of Organization said the purpose was a “Leadership PAC.”

Gov. Kathleen Sebelius recently appointed Trevor Wohlford (R, Lawrence) to be the chief hearing officer for the state Court of Tax Appeals according to the Lawrence Journal-World.
As with many Sebelius appointees, Wohlford contributed to Sebelius’ political campaign.
